A Chardonnay with character, depth, and elegance. For this exceptional Barrique expression, we select only the finest grapes from carefully chosen vineyards surrounding Deidesheim. Only the highest quality fruit merits the time and dedication required to craft a wine of exceptional distinction.
Following harvest, this Chardonnay matures for eight months in once-used 225-liter barriques. This achieves a perfect harmony between ripe fruit, refined oak nuances, and a smooth, creamy texture. The wood subtly supports the wine without overpowering the crisp, fresh character of the Chardonnay.
In the glass, it gleams golden yellow with a warm radiance. The bouquet opens elegantly with notes of ripe peach, yellow apple, and citrus, followed by nuances of vanilla, lightly toasted oak, brioche, and a hint of hazelnut. On the palate, it is full and rich, yet refined and vibrant—creamy in texture with gentle oak influences, mineral freshness, and a long, luxurious finish that invites the next sip.
